Scope of Service Experience
|
Ira Krumholz joined NAI Daus in 2001 and in 2008 became President of BPS MGMT Inc., NAI Daus’ property management division. Ira oversees the management of almost 4 million square feet of industrial, retail, office and flex space in the Cleveland and Akron areas, as well as 90+ student housing units. He and his team are often commended for doing an excellent job managing landlord-tenant relationships as well as negotiating leases. Ira also oversees major renovations and building expansions including mall renovations, school expansions and environmental projects.
In recent years, BPS MGMT Inc. has increased its number of managed properties that are in receivership. Ira and his team excel at managing this challenging process. Under the direction of Ira and his team, properties have been removed from receivership.
Ira has implemented new policies and systems to provide increased responsiveness and accountability for the management and brokerage divisions. Additionally, his participation in NAI Global’s Asset Services Council has given the firm national exposure.

Education

Ira received a B.A. in Economics and Business Administration from Carnegie-Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA in 1975. Ira received his NJ real estate license in 1982 and then became a real estate broker-salesman in NJ in 1987. Ira received his Ohio Real Estate Salesman license in 2001. Ira continues to take coursework through the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM.)

Background & Experience

| Ira began his real estate career in 1982 as an investment real estate broker with Gebroe-Hammer in New Jersey. While there he was involved in over $80 million in real estate transactions. Following that, Ira moved to Cleveland where he was the Business Director for a major non-profit organization. Ira was responsilble for the management and dispostion of all real estate. Ira accepted a position with NAI Daus as Director of Property Management in 2001. Since that time, the company has grown from 500,000 square feet of management to over 3 million. |

Shopping Centers (ICSC). Ira currently serves as the co-chair of the NAI Asset Services Council.

Alfred Professional Building:
Office/Warehouse Building in Strongsville, Ohio. Management of multi use office/warehouse building in receivership.
“Our team stabilized the building and secured a buyer within 3 months of acquiring the management services.”
Chester Commons:
4 Story Office Building in Cleveland, Ohio. Management of a four story CBD office building in receivership.
“We teamed up with our Detroit NAI office to manage this office building. We are currently stabilizing the rent and expect the building to come out of receivership the 2nd quarter of 2010.”

30,000 square-foot Retail/Office Building in Mentor, Ohio.
“NAI Daus has guided the stabilization of this building for a first time, out of state owner.”
